These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Mainland Solar website and the purchase of goods from Mainland Solar. By registering on this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account Registration and Security
1.1. When registering on this website, you must provide a valid email address and create a password.
1.2. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account.
1.3. You must maintain the confidentiality of your password and must not disclose it to any third party.
1.4. If you suspect your password has been compromised, you must change it immediately.
2. Formation of Contract
2.1. Any contract for the purchase of goods through this website shall be between the customer (“You”) and Mainland Solar (“Us” or “We”).
2.2. Prices displayed on the website exclude postage and packaging. Delivery charges will be stated separately at checkout.
2.3. Payment in full must be received by Mainland Solar before an order can be accepted.
2.4. Upon receipt of payment, we will confirm acceptance of your order via email. This confirmation creates a legally binding contract between You and Mainland Solar.
2.5. Once an order has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or amended by You.
2.6. Mainland Solar reserves the right to withdraw from any contract where an obvious error or inaccuracy is discovered, including but not limited to pricing errors. In such circumstances, You will be notified and given the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.
3. Withdrawal and Returns
3.1. Once an order has been accepted by Mainland Solar, it is final and cannot be cancelled except in the case of damaged or defective goods.
3.2. You must notify Mainland Solar of any defect or damage within two (2) working days of delivery.
3.3. Mainland Solar will inspect the goods to verify the reported defect. This inspection may occur at the delivery location or by requiring You to return the goods at Your own cost and risk.
3.4. Returned goods must be in the same condition as delivered.
3.5. Where a defect is confirmed, You shall be entitled to a replacement of the goods.
4. Delivery
4.1. Mainland Solar will arrange delivery of goods to the address provided by You at the time of order.
4.2. Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and may vary due to availability, processing, or courier delays.
4.3. You will be notified if additional time is required to complete delivery.
5. Liability
5.1. If goods delivered are not as ordered, are defective, or are delivered in the wrong quantity, Mainland Solar shall have no liability unless notified within two (2) working days of delivery.
5.2. If goods are not received within five (5) days of dispatch, Mainland Solar shall have no liability unless notified within five (5) days of the dispatch date.
5.3. Where liability is established under Clause 5.1 or 5.2, Mainland Solar’s sole obligation shall be, at its discretion, to:
(a) make good any shortage or non-delivery;
(b) replace defective or damaged goods; or
(c) refund the amount paid for the goods in question.
5.4. Mainland Solar shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expense arising from non-delivery, late delivery, or delivery of defective goods.
5.5. No compensation shall be payable other than replacement of goods or refund of the amount paid, as set out in Clause 5.3.
6. Amendments to Terms
6.1. Mainland Solar reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend or update these Terms at any time.
6.2. Any revised Terms will be published on this website. Continued use of the website following such publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
